I have a question. The assembly I go to collects tithe and alms. I know tithe isn't money as per the scriptures. Is this right of them to do? Last time I checked tithe is money for the poor levites widows and orphans.

Shalom sis, I love all the scriptures sisters shared above. If you desire to support your church monetarily, I think that’s up to your discretion and the insight and wisdom you receive from YAH’s Word. But I will say, it’s important that you identify whether or not any monies contributed to the church are helping the community as a whole. Are they planting gardens? Are they building homes? Are they starting schools for the children? Are they planning to start communities so that they’re members can live set apart just as they’re seeking to be set apart spiritually? These are questions that may help your decision making as well🙏🏽
